Long Weekends are FUN!

I love it when your at work on Friday and look at the clock to know that you will be home soon and knowing you can just sleep in and do nothing. there is no better feeling than that.. lately i have been feeling really blue and down and think i just needed a long weekend to ease my blue feelings. Do you ever stop to think.. what is life all about? is it about working hard to get ahead in life or is it about working less and spending all that time with your family creating memories.. I never really went on family vacations as a kid so I have been living it up now since I am older and I am the mommy and I say YES we are going on a family vacation.. I mean I sometimes think that my life has gone in a different direction than i thought it would. BUT I love my life and my family and now realize that they are what it is all about.. They will be there for me... unconditionally... and will be the ones to cheer me up when i am down.

David Cook Wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited that David Cook took the title as the "Next American Idol"!! He desrves it!! He had a great season and was the most original. He is the only reason why i continued to watch AI this year. There was not all that great of talent and I am hoping next year is better. SO Cheers to David Cook and I wish him the best and cant wait to buy his new CD!

Mason's Field Trip to St. Augustine

I was up a 4:00 this morning getting my son, mason, ready for his first BIG field trip. Ususally in the past grades they have gone somewhere local but this year they gathered up the kids on busses and arranged a trip to St. Augustine, Florida. It actaully brought back memories to when I was a kid. I was so excited for him that I couldnt sleep- that's how much I love my boys to where i feel their excitement, i feel their pain, i feel their hunger:) Anyway I packed him a MP3 player which i hope it makes it home, camera, $10 for suvenoir, pillow, blanket, and lots of candy. I know he is having the time of his life right now. This is what makes my life exciting is to see my boys have fun and live a happy life.

My life is pretty simple but complex at times. I am a very creative and like to spend time with my family. I try to not let work get me down and I am always looking for a place to escape. This seems like a great place to do just that. Thank you Sara for introducing me to this Blog site. I am sure I will have many stories to tell and it will be fun to watch all the blogs get piled up like a diary. For now, this is just my lil introduction that really says nothing and that is the fun about it, meaniless lil blurbs are the funnest. Chow for Now!
